Finance Manager

Come grow with us!  The City of Hanover is looking for a Finance Manager who will lead accounting operations, investments, payroll, benefits administration and City insurance renewals for our growing community of about 4,000 people just west of the Twin Cities metro area.  This person will also provide key support for the Council and Administrator with budget preparation, capital planning and cost analysis for various service options, as well as work with the City Clerk to manage elections and records systems. The successful candidate will have a bachelors degree in accounting, business administration or public administration with emphasis on accounting and/or public finance, or   associates degree in related field with experience in local government finance of at least three years.  Preferred qualification includes three years of experience in government accounting operations.  The 2024 wage range for this position is $32.46/hr to $43.52/hr DOQ, exempt with excellent full-time employee benefits.
