Election Judge
Being an election judge is a great service to the community and the City of Hanover is accepting applications for the 2024 Election year. Election judges may work the Presidential Nominating Primary (PNP), March 5th; the Primary Election, August 13th; and the General Election, November 5th. Election judges may work a partial day or an entire day for each of the election dates.
An election judge must be eligible to vote in Minnesota, and able to read, write, and speak English. In order to participate, election judges receive training prior to the elections. This is required by the State of Minnesota. Election judges are paid a stipend and are provided meals for the shifts worked. If interested, please stop by City Hall to submit an application or complete the application below and email to Jenny Peterson, City Clerk/Assistant to the City Administrator at cityclerk@ci.hanover.mn.us .
