Help Keep Hanover’s Parks Clean, Safe, and Beautiful

The City of Hanover invites residents, families, businesses, and community groups to get involved in preserving our local parks through the Adopt-a-Park Program. This volunteer initiative encourages participants to "adopt" one of Hanover’s parks and commit to a monthly clean-up and maintenance routine.

Volunteers help by picking up litter, removing debris, inspecting playground equipment, and reporting any damage or suspicious activity. A checklist is provided, and supplies can be picked up at City Hall to make it easy to get started. Whether you're an individual looking to give back or a business seeking a team-building opportunity, the Adopt-a-Park Program offers a rewarding way to make a visible difference in our community.

Participating is simple:

• Choose a park to adopt

• Visit once a month to complete light maintenance tasks

• Share your efforts and encourage others by tagging @CityofHanover on social media

Your time and effort help ensure that Hanover’s parks remain safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for everyone to enjoy—today and for future generations.
