Night to Unite is Back!

 

Tuesday, August 5th, starting at 5pm

Local neighborhoods will hosting block parties in an effort to bring neighbors together to connect with local law enforcements and other local agencies to foster a safer community as well as promote crime prevention and safety awareness.  These will help bring about stronger neighborhoods and community partnerships.

What is the difference between National Night Out and Night to Unite?

 National Night Out and Night to Unite are essentially the same event.  Night to Unite is a Minnesota specific name for National Night Out.  Both focus on fostering community bonds between neighbors and public safety organizations which promote safety & crime prevention.

Do I need to Register?

  Yes, registration is required so you can ensure those you want to visit the event can (Sherriff, Fire Department, City Staff, Mayor, and City Council)

How do I plan a Night to Unite?

  Start by gathering some neighbors together to help get organized.  Most events have invitations/flyers, activities, kids' entertainment, food set up, and clean up.
