Water and Sewer

The City contracts with the Joint Powers Water Board / Veolia Water Corporation to manage its sewer and water facilities. Rates for these utilities are based on the funding required to cover operation, maintenance and capital costs. In addition, sewer bills are based upon water usage during the winter months (typically the quarter with little or no outdoor water use).  Water and sewer bills are sent out monthly. Rates are reviewed on an annual basis to determine if revenues are adequate to cover expenses. For additional information, please contact the Sewer and Water office at 763-497-3611.
