Hanover Parks

The City of Hanover provides six parks throughout the community providing play areas, open space and other amenities.  A City park system map and list of amenities located within each park are listed below.  Residents in Hanover also enjoy a trail network with access to regional networks and amenities - a popular feature in our community.

In addition to the City's park system, residents also have access to parks and trails operated by Three Rivers Park District and Wright County Parks, as well as connection to trails provided by St. Michael.  Check out the links below for more information:
 
Crow Hassan Park- located in Hanover City limits and operated by Three Rivers Parks District
Riverside County Park - located in City limits and operated by Wright County Parks
Beebe Lake Park - located 2 miles west of town by trail and operated by Wright County Parks 
St. Michael Trails and Parks - connections to this system via trails on north and west sides of Hanover

Attached Document or FileCrow River Regional Trail The CRRT’s proposed route stretches from the Luce Line State Trail in Watertown Township to the West Mississippi River Regional Trail in Dayton, connecting Carver, Hennepin and Wright counties through the communities of Minnetrista, Independence, Franklin Township, Delano, Greenfield, Rockford, Rockford Township, Hanover, Rogers and Otsego.
Attached Document or FileLake Independence Regional Trail The Lake Independence Regional Trail connects Crow-Hassan Park Reserve, Baker Park Reserve and the Luce Line State Trail. The 10-foot-wide paved trail supports walking, jogging, hiking, dog-walking, inline skating and bicycling. A turf trail for horseback riding and hiking runs parallel within Baker Park Reserve, south of County Road 115.
